About Blog the ‘Bus

As a creative (and opinionated) person, I have always loved writing and sharing my thoughts with others. After my graduation from The Ohio State University in 2014, I found my opportunities to write becoming less frequent. I wanted a platform that would let me practice and hone my writing skills while giving me an opportunity to share about something I love, and a blog seemed like a perfect fit. That still left the question of what exactly I would be blogging about.

In June 2018, I became a Certified Tourism Ambassador for the Greater Columbus Region. The certification course reignited my passion for Columbus, and reminded me of all that this remarkable city has to offer. I’m always looking for new things to do and places to see, and there is so much right in my own backyard that I have yet to discover.

In creating Blog the ‘Bus, I hope to get myself out of my comfort zone and into some places I wouldn’t otherwise have visited, while discovering the heart and soul of the city I call home. I’ll share my experiences, recommendations, and a little bit about my own life here in the 614.
